Inspiration often comes in the middle of desperation. In the summer of 2010, Geoff found himself spinning after several major life resets. Newly divorced, suddenly unemployed and frantically grasping for a handhold, Geoff often found himself alone in his small apartment with few emotional anchors to work through the changes except his acoustic guitar. A unexpected thing came out of all those nights on the couch with a few chords and a longing heart - the stirring of new songs.

The Winter Songs EP is the product of this catharsis. These five tracks come from the heart of a man finding his feet again, redefining his definition of love, hope, passion and faith after weathering a very cold winter.
